Hi,
I just upgraded to the latest version of Freenas using the CD method. It asked if I wanted to retain my settings etc and I said yes. When I booted up off my USB, it now appears that everything is gone - users, groups and most importantly, my data. I realise I am a noob, but I have a couple of questions:
1. How can I back up the zfs configuration so that this doesn't happen again
2. Is there any way, if I boot up off of 8.0.2 that I can get my configuration back
Obviously it's disappointing, I'm only grateful that it's currently in "test" mode for me and I have nothing critical on it.
Thanks all for your help.
Chris
Edit: My bad - crushing disappointment gave way to joy when I rtfm. Imported, won't happen again, sorry people, panic on my part
