Hi Gents,

Maybe someone of You has already encountered similar issue;

I have a Network Adapter with RTL8169SC chipset which works fine on 9.3, whe i try to upgrade system to 9.3.1, OS doesn't recognize ETH adapter ( no configured interfaces were found) no way to configure manually . I've verified and chipset is included in re4 BSD driver . Does anyone have any suggestion ??

Thanks In Advance

This interface is active and configured. Were you expecting something else?

I agree but there should at least be an IP.

@korrupto77 that nic is terrible and will probably cause all kinds of problems for freenas.
I've seen !!! till 9.3 is ok but with upgrade doesn't want to work !!

A typical Intel PCIe desktop card for about thirty dollars will work wonders. Plus it'll actually work, unlike Realteks, which seem rather hit-or-miss.

So on the working system, you are connected at 100M full duplex and after the upgrade, the speed is 10M half duplex. I'd look at cabling or the switch port that the freenas connects to.
