I just installed a new FreeNAS 8.3.1 RC1 server and wanted to use 4 aggregated interfaces but I hit a problem and I'm not sure if its a bug or what....

in [console] after installation I created lagg0 but there is no place to set its ip? You can't edit your lagg and network interfaces only shows em0 and em1 not lagg0.

If I configure em0 with an ip I can connect to web interface so I created my lagg through the web interface thinking that I'll use em0 as my admin interface and the quad nic lagg as my data interface BUT these two can't be in the same network range? why? should be nothing stopping you from creating em0 as 10.1.1.2 and em1 as 10.1.1.3 right?

is this a 8.3.1 issue or is this just a limitation?

I found that after configuring a new lagg when you are in the console you also need to reboot your server before the new lagg is available in network settings.

I still want lagg0 and em0 to be on the same "network" but currently working around this by using my lagg0 for all access....
