As of late I am having an issue where my SMB shares don’t seem to remain persistent. I will connect to a share, after a few minutes of browsing the drive, the connection will freeze and disappear. After a minute or two I am then able to access the shares once again. This is my current build.

Is it time to spend $$$ and upgrade motherboard, processor, memory and case? Or am I missing something other than the fact that I am running FreeNAS Corral. I plan to move to FreeNAS 11, but after all of the work It took to move to corral and get everything working I am not overly enthusiastic about having to rebuild FreeNAS again.

RAM is on the lowish side for all that stuff, but unlikely to be your problem.

It's likely to be Corral.

I was kinda thinking the same thing. Unfortunately I am maxed out on ram. Poor planning on my build. I will make the move back to freenas 9.10.2. Then I will prob have to make the move to a 32 or 64 32gb build
