I've recently set up a NAS with ver. 8.3.0.
I have had my fair share of obstacles with sharing, users, groups etc. but everything is now running fine...
...except for one minor problem.
I can't read/run certain .iso files from my media streamer.
This is the structure:
/media/TV-series/seinfeld/dvd_img.iso
/media/TV-series/curb_your_enthusiasm/dvd_img.iso
etc.
My boxee streamer runs the /curb_your_enthusiasm/dvd_img.iso
it does not run /media/TV-series/seinfeld/dvd_img.iso
with a CIFS share any windows computer runs both .isos with the same authentication as the streamer has. (I also use the same CIFS share for the boxee streamer)
The boxee can see and index the /seinfeld/dvd_img.iso but it can not access it.
If I unpack the /seinfeld/dvd_img.iso to its original VIDEO_TS mapp, then the boxee can run the dvd. (its located in the same mapp as the .iso, /media/TV-series/seinfeld/dvd_img.iso)
All the the /seinfeld/dvd_img.iso files were originally stored on my Synology NAS and were copied to FreeNAS vwith shell commands. The boxee streamer of course can read the /seinfeld/dvd_img.iso from the Synology...
Any suggestions...?
