Does the HBA show up in the console (in dmesg)?
There are also some commands like:
sas2ircu list to list the controlers
or
sas2flash -list to check the HBA interface

And I think there are other commands to check if the card is seen by TrueNAS but I don't recall right now....

At least the card is seen by TrueNAS.

The only differences I see with my card are:
Adapter type: SAS2008
Firmware version: 20.00.07.00

I think I recall there was something with the firmware version.... but I don't remember exactly... :-(

Do you see the disk in dmesg?

I need to check this
Cables are Supermicro CBL-0294-02 REV 1.00
Those cables appear to be reverse breakout, not forward breakout, from my searching.

Also, please check the part number you gave - I cannot find it on Supermicro's US site.

Well that's a good news, thanks for your finding Red, right on target, probably the problem is only in those cables, I will ask my provider for cable change, for now have no other to test with

Well , provider is sending me replacement cables CBL-0237L for free, just need to wait . Part coming from Denmark to France.
in between I will update to latest firmware P20 from a windows pc as i don't even know if it's possible directly from Freebsd.

I succeeded in updating the board, so now it's up to date in P20 release, I just ordered now on Amazon, the cable that Red pasted a link for me. So with prime, it should be delivered fast. I received also today the last missing disk so now it's just a cable problem to wait for.
