Yes, I have the 1000VA and not the 850. It shows up in the messages log at the bottom of the web interface.

If this is too much of a thread hijack, let me know -- I was just excited to see that somebody had a Cyberpower PFC UPS working without any issues.

Also, http://forums.freenas.org/index.php...ected-message-yet-ups-is-communicating.18177/ is another user with a similar issue, though different UPS.

I increased the poll frequency to 10s; I'll report back in a few hours whether the problem is solved or not.

Changing the poll frequency didn't help; I'll try switching USB ports next

Just remember to choose the cpcf1000pfclcd usbhid driver and all should work well.. This is most basic.. Single UPS wired with USB..

You said CPCF1000PFCLCD driver, was that a typo? Did you actually mean CP1000PFCLCD?

I have the same issue with the 1000VA PFC. I'm using a Haswell system (Thinkserver TS140). Doesn't seem to have any negative effects though.

no luck so far. I have played with the poll frequency, poll interval as well as other options the GUI gives you. I have also contacted Cyberpower for help and they don't have any best practices and don't really help much when you aren't using their supplied software.

Maybe a different USB provider in the 1000va versus 850va.. I have nothing in the console regarding UPS..

no, dev's just marked resolved with no reason why. I can't reopen it. I did some debugging but didn't get anywhere. I would like to have the ability to configure the upsd.conf so i can set a MAXAGE value this would allow the driver to not respond to the upds process for longer than 15 seconds and everything would be fine. I modified it but need to relaod the config and bumping the process from the gui rewrites the config from the db. Might have to just use "service restart"

Thanks man. I decided on the 1350 model so I'll let everyone know how it works out.

The 850 seems to be fine (mine) other people are having issues with the 1000+ models apparently.. @SweetAndLow I would probably start a discussion over a NUT to see if you can get a solution.. The only time I've ever had a problem logged is when the UPS was on the wrong power cord and the UPS was still connected and complaining (as you would want it to)..

I just got the CyberPower CP1350PFCLCD and it's working like a champ. I just tested it and it's successfully triggering a shutdown. I selected the CP1000PFCLCD in the UPS setup and that seems to have worked fine. I can query it using the command line (upsc command iirc).

Here's what I get when I test a power loss by unplugging the ups:
