I have Freenas 8.3.1 with one volume at /mnt/volume.
Set up everything (users, groups, permissions, CIFS share to /mnt/volume, activated CIFS service) and I can read and write in /mnt/volume from Windows Explorer.
Everything works like a charm.
I can create (rename, delete) a new folder (i.e. /mnt/volume/folder1) from Windows Explorer.
Is it correct to create new folders from Windows Explorer? Or is it correct to create a new share for every new folder working from Freenas GUI via web browser?
