Couchpotato renamer not working?

Hi,

So i'm running CP with Transmission and it searches and downloads fine, but the renamer doesn't work.

I'm running everything as nobody/nogroup and giving full access as i trust everyone on my home network. I have the folders as 0777 in CP too.

attached my renamer settings, not sure why it's working?

Could someone explain how to obtain logs?

There's a log page in CP I believe. The CP forums would be more helpful for finding specific information.

You're "running everything as nobody", I'm guessing what you really mean is you set the file permissions as nobody/nogroup, this doesn't change future files written by the CP or Transmission daemon.

To change the user a daemon is running as you need to set it in your rc.conf. If you google 'jruehlig freenas' I have a guide where I change the user Transmission runs as to the 'media' user by editing /etc/rc.conf.local (this is the same user as CP runs as).
