Hi,
I've played with FreeNAS in the past and I am certainly not an expert. In the past when I added disks, formatted or otherwise they showed up in the GUI and it was quite a simple process but I'm confused at the moment. I don't know a whole lot of freebsd, sorry.
dmesg -a ---- http://pastebin.com/E1R7JGKK
smartctl -iH -d cciss,1 /dev/ciss0 ---- http://pastebin.com/yc86QK8q
pciconf -lv ----- http://pastebin.com/KhHbDxDE
As you can see from the above FreeNAS is on a USB stick and smartctl shows the disks but I can't add them or view them.
uname -a
FreeBSD freenas.local 9.1-STABLE FreeBSD 9.1-STABLE #0 r+1a51513: Wed Jul 31 21:54:30 PDT 2013 root@build.ixsystems.com:/home/alfred/fn/9.1-RELEASE/os-base/amd64/tank/home/alfred/fn/9.1-RELEASE/FreeBSD/src/sys/FREENAS.amd64 amd64
ProLiant BL280c G6
Smart Array P711m

What am I doing wrong?
Thanks
