I have been looking for a NAS solution and found this searching around the web. I downloaded the ISO from FreeNAS website, and burned to a CD. Attempting to install it and have been unable to complete the install.
I am running a Gateway AMD Phenom 9600, 64-bit quad core processor with 8 GB of PC2-5300.
After inserting the CD and selecting option 1 (to install I guess), it runs the checks, then gets to a line of code which it gets stuck on...
"run_interrupt_driven_hooks: still waiting after 120 seconds for xpt_config"
It goes through 180,240 and finally 300 seconds then it just stops.
Please help. This seems like a really cool product, and exactly what could help me.
