This is my first time with freenas,
I have tried using both 32bit ISO's as cd also both 32bit usb images

Every time it gets into the code and stops at

run_interrupt_driven_hooks still waiting after 60 seconds for xpt_config

It is an older pc, I have tried removing everything that I can think of and what the Internet has said to do,
I've removed all hard drives, removed the pci card, changed the ram and only had 1 usb connected to use as the boot

Does anyone have any ideas what this could be?

To test the software/fail points
have managed to get it to install on another machine with the same hard drive, usb, pci card and versions of freenas (but I didn't use it)

What are you hardware specs? Note that 32 bit support will be dropped soon, and the 32 bit build isn't being tested extensively. Maybe your mainboard is not supported by FreeBSD?

I don't think it is supported,
Couldn't find any markings on the board so I gave up and installed Linux on it instead
