SOLVED can't email (but DNS and gateway is fine)

I'm in the process of setting up my FreeNAS. I can ping the DNS server and gateway (and any client on my network). However, I'm not able to ping any websites. This also means that I can't get updates, nor sent test emails.

Any ideas how I can diagnose and fix this?

Can you ping external websites by IP?

no, I can't.

I did traceroute yahoo.com to get the IP, which is 206.190.36.45, then I pinged that IP and can't get a connection :/

Something in the network is blocking you. Is there a firewall between you and the Internet? A misconfigured switch or router?

I just solved this! I temporarily disabled the firewall, and that wasn't it. Turns out, I had two network interfaces on there, and they don't play nicely with each other. I deleted one from the config, and now everything works great. I can receive test emails, and ping external websites :)
