Cannot login to webgui (new install of Truenas scale)

I downloaded TrueNas scale 1 week ago (so that is the version I have) and installed it. It all went well and I picked a password but that password is not working in the webgui (I am using root as the user). I tried to change the password (option 4) to the same password... it said change successful but when I login to web gui it still doesn't work. Any idea whats wrong? Thanks.

Did you read the documentation, or pay attention during the install? On Scale, root can't be used to login to the GUI. Try admin instead, with the password you set.
