Btsync not working correctly.

I am new to freenas but have it up and running on the latest version. Plex works great and that's fine. I recently installed btsync so I could backup my phone pictures and videos.

I installed the latest version of btsync.

I created a data folder and got it set up.

I installed btsync on my iPhone running iOS 9.3.

I linked my phone to the sync folder using the image barcode scan.

For some reason the sync is not auto syncing all my files like it did when I tested on my computer to my phone before my freenas box.

I am able to sync one file at a time or however many I select. But it does not auto sync all the un synced files like it did in previous testing.

When I go to manually select files. There is not a select all or select un synced files option


Any ideas how I can get my phones synced backed up to freenas using btsync?

Does syncthing have an iOS client? I prefer syncthing over btsync

Yes, sorry I should have specified I was using the iOS app.

How do you do it from the btsync on your phone without the app?

A. I dont have an iPhone
B. I dont use BTSync (Which is why I specifically asked if there was a *SYNCTHING* client for iOS). I don't know how the BTSync app on iOS works

Gotcha. I had it working before from my PC to phone flawless to see how it worked. I have not been able to do my iPhone to freenas for some reason. It only works if I select every single file. There are almost 4K and before it would just auto transfer.

I used btsync on android for a short while, and I never got it auto uploading, I could only get it to autodownload

Hmmm anyone have any ideas of why it's not auto copying files from my iPhone to freenas?

This sounds like a problem with the iOS app. This isn't a freenas issue.

That was my guess. Could also be related to the iOS 9 updates.

Do you have it working on android or a older version of iOS?

I haven't used btsync in months. As I said already, I switched to syncthing a long time ago.
