Brand new build. Do I HAVE to install drivers?

I just put together a new rig(MSI H61M-P31 (G3) mobo with an Intel dual core G630 and 4GB of RAM). Freenas 8.03 is up and running and configured.
The CPU and case fans never seem to shut off even when nothing is going on.

Do I HAVE to install drivers for anything?

Nope. It's possible that there is no control for your case and CPU fans. You shouldn't really expect the CPU fan to shut off completely, ever. At least, I've never seen a computer ever do that. Not even my laptop when in "quiet" mode turns the CPU fan completely off.
