Hello everyone,
I've just successfully builded FreeNAS-11.2-U5 on my old HW (see bellow). Everything is working fine instead of Virtualization. I am afraid of old CPU model AMD Athlon 4850e. Anyway this is old AMD from Athlon family which should be supported by FreeNas. Isn't it ??? I have in BIOS enabled Secure Virtual Machine (Virtualization) but after start docker or VM I have message:

Code:
[EFAULT] VM buntu failed to start: vm_create: Device not configured

So my question is: Is my model of CPU obsolete ? What should support for virtualization.

Many Thanks

Ah, your 4850e is not going to support the necessary CPU virtualization features and you don't have enough memory anyways. Your CPU is probably fine for a basic home NAS box, and if you can up the memory on it, it'll be happy running some jails, though maybe a bit slowly.
