Hi freenas Forum,
I started to get multiple Critical errors on my freenas build recently.

My current built is :
freenas 9.3 - supermicro X11SSM-F - 2x16Gb kingston ran - 2x4Tb WD drive (red)

I searched a bit online and found that i should run :
smartctl -t long /dev/ada1
And the result is:

smartctl 6.5 2016-05-07 r4318 [FreeBSD 10.3-STABLE amd64] (local build)

i was following this article to try to solve the unreadable sectors:
https://dekoder.wordpress.com/2014/10/08/fixing-freenas-currently-unreadable-pending-sectors-error/
But in the comment sections, people seems to say it not really a good solution to solve this.

The hard drive is still under warranty so i could bring it back to the shop if needed. But if this is solvable with some command lines maybe i should give it a go ?
Any advice is welcome! thanks!

You don't have scheduled smart tests configured. That's problem 1 an should be fixed. Your HDD is dying and needs to be replaced. That's problem number 2.

Replace the drive. And when you get the replacement installed, schedule regular SMART tests on all drives.
