Hi all,
I did some searching before hand, but I didn't come up with anything that seemed to work.
I have a couple of zvols that are replicated from a remote site, to my local site.
The zvols contain a mbr(linux) partition table, and a single ext4 partition.
I would like to mount these on my local freenas box, so that I can back up the contents to tape(As I can't find a good incremental solution for backing up zvols themself to tape.)
Is there a way to do this?
Edit: Playing around a bit it looks like if I set
zfs set volmode=geom <DATASET>
It shows up after a restart with the slices/partitions.
Is there a way to set that and have it come into effect without a reboot?
