Yet another plugin installation failure...
Tried searching w/o result.
Have a volume "media"
Created two datasets (/mnt/media/jail & /mnt/media/software) on my volume and installed the jail.
Plugins jail patch = "/mnt/media/jail"
Jail name = "software"
Plugins archive path = "/mnt/media/software"
MAC: <empty>
After the jail is installed, I can ping the jail address.
The jail is turned on:
Have downloaded the transmission, firefly and minidlna from the 8.3.1-p2 download directory.
I do not get any settings in "Services->Plugins->Managment"
"transmission" can be started in the GUI, but not "firefly" or "minidlna".
Then "transmission" cannot be turned off, once turned on
When I try to start firefly, I get a notice: "Firefly data did not validate, Please configure it first"
Same for MiniDLNA.
Do not see anything in any logs in "/var/log"
If I ssh in, and enter the jail
jexec 2 /bin/tcsh
and run minidlna it tells me it cannot find the minidlna.pbiopt
Seems to be present at:
./mnt/plugins/pbi/minidlna-amd64/.sbin/minidlna.pbiopt
./usr/pbi/minidlna-amd64/.sbin/minidlna.pbiopt
but If I run mindlna there, I lack the "/opt" directory
In /var(log/messages I see
/etc/rc: WARNING: /usr/pbi/firefly-amd64/etc/mt-daapd.conf is not readable.
andf there is of couse not such a file.
The main problem seems to be that the configuration settings does not turn up.
I changed the admin user to a more pleasant username, but I have changed
that back now.
