Hitting the "destroy volume" button in the GUI had nothing happen. Rebooted, now it worked and it was removed.

- volume created in 8.0.1-b2 (no dataset)
- unix shared

- 8.0.1-b3-amd64
- unmounted directories from clients
- deleted the unix share in the GUI
- tried to "destroy volume" in the GUI - nothing happens

- rebooted
- Now "destroy volume" worked

(I have "destroyed" volumes before in beta-2, no problems.)

I think what may be happening is the GUI isn't refreshing properly. Can you try creating a volume, then deleting it, then reloading the webpage in your browser? There's nothing that should be happening during a reboot that should be affecting the backend.

As followup to jpaerzel's reply, are you using FF5? could be the reason.

On one of my comps I'm having big issues with FF5 and cached pages while on my other comp it works like it should (both win7 64bit with same updates/patches and same FF version).

Just tested to create a new volume and directly destroying it. It worked.

After I created it and the screen goes back to the list of volumes, the new volume was not shown. Chosed to view something else, and then back to "view all volumes" and there it was.

Something with the browser updating yes.
Firefox 5.0 (Ubuntu). Have not noticed any cache-issues elsewhere.

Thanks guys!
