So, I was having some problems with my plugins not working so I got the suggestion to enter more RAM and install the 64-bit version. Since the current setup couldn't use more then the 2Gb I had I moved the drives and USB to a new machine with more memory. Installed the 64-bit one (upgraded) and everything seemed to work.

Atleast until I installed the Jail and plugins, then I noticed that my folder for downloads was missing a bunch of my files that I had downloaded earlier and going to the storage settings I noticed that it said my drives now only was 720Gb

Old Stats:

Stats after move:
2013-01-24_0929.png

It doesn't seem that the folders used for backup is effected but only my "Share" folder for transmission (Atleast I hope) and the only thing I did was remove the mount point associated with the plugin since I couldn't install the new one with it still there. Mount Points should only be virtual paths for the plugins right...

Anyway, since it's showing the wrong size I hope my files are still there somewhere but how can I get it back?

System specs:
Code:
Hostname: freenas.local
Build: FreeNAS-8.3.0-RELEASE-p1-x64 (r12825)
Platform: AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 215 Processor
Memory: 3824MB
System Time: Thu Jan 24 09:45:23 CET 2013
Uptime: 9:45AM up 18:59, 0 users
Load Average: 0.00, 0.02, 0.00
Connected through: 192.168.0.43

yes I know... 4Gb isn't optimal either but it worked with 2Gb earlier!

Ok, so I've tried googling and just ran a "zpool list" command and there I can see the correct size etc.
Code:
NAME SIZE ALLOC FREE CAP DEDUP HEALTH ALTROOT
Atlas 1.82T 1.48T 344G 81% 1.00x ONLINE /mnt

So... seems a lot better then the stats Im getting from the webui, but the files arn't there if I connect with my computer and visually check the folders either so how can I get it back?

Thats weird, did you upgrde the plugin jail? or delete/reinstall plugins?

Paste:
# zfs list -t all
# mount

I deleted the jail and upgraded it and the transmission plugin.

Code:

Well, thats weird, looks like you lost data somehow.

Luckily you had snapshots, unfortunately they are a bit old.
Try go to Storage->ZFS Snapshots and clone the most recent snapshot, and check out if your data is in the cloned dataset.

phew... that seems to be working... never mind that I lost it from november... that's not so much :D
Wonder what had happened but it's solved for now anyway!
