Hello,
I've created a zpool via CLI (zpool create ...). I even specified "-R /mnt" to match the gui created pools, but the cli created pool will not show up in GUI. If I export on cli and import with GUI, it works fine.

Please advise.

Thank you as always.

Additional: No the pools are not encrypted.

As I said, I know I can export and import and it does work fine...I just don't understand why I have to? Does the GUI not poll the zfs system to see what pool/datasets there are?

Correct.

You did something outside of the UI, and then expected the UI to know about it. It doesn't. (I don't know if there's a command-line way to get it to learn about it.)

Just as a warning, you shouldn't be willy-nilly doing stuff from the CLI. If you aren't comfortable with doing stuff from within the WebGUI, you should probably stuck to FreeBSD.
