ZFS Volume creation

Hi all,

How long should it take to create a RAIDZ2 ZFS Volume on a the following spec'd system?

Supermicro X10SL7-F SAS flashed to IT
Intel I3-4340 CPU
32 GB ECC
6 x Seagate NAS HDD 4TB SATA

Its been over 6 hours so far? I'm reluctant to intervene?

Unless you did encryption and the disk wipe option, like 1 minute tops.

Ah, yes, sorry, I did pick encryption, the CPU as AES capabilities. The disks/system is all new, don't remember a wipe option?

Almost 8 hrs now!

Fudge! I wasn't actually ready to commit to the build as I've not completed the burn-in. Is there a graceful way to terminate it? Or just reboot?
