Hi, I'm trying to setup a Zerotier virtual local network, to access my services inside my freenas box from outside my home network

I've joined my Zerotier network with my freenas box, and did the same thing with my linux mint laptop.

Everything seems ok from the Zerotier Network info. (both machines listed and IPs assigned: 192.168.195.250 and 192.168.195.182)

My physical Network interface (em0), where the Freenas is is in the subnet 192.168.0.X/24 (My freenas box is 192.168.0.10) and the gateway (my router) is 192.168.0.1
My virtual Zerotier network is 192.168.195.0/24 I've created a new NIC inthe freenas GUI with the virtual interface ztxxxxxxx and ip 192.168.195.182 /24

So each machine can ping each other and find for example an FTP service on the freenas. I mean, from my laptop I can put 192.168.0.10 and 192.168.195.182 as the FTP ip and works with both. But this happens only if i am in the same physical netowrk at my home, when I connect with my laptop from outside I can't no longer connect to the 192.168.195.182 ip (as it is the main purpose of installing Zerotier)

It seems for me something like the freenas zerotier NIC can't reach internet, is it because the gateway is in different subnet?, I'm a little lost as you see.

thank you any help is appreciated.
sorry for my bad english :)

No, I haven't had time to read and investigate. I've never created an openvpn network nor a zerotier one. So I think is a problem with the virtual NIC configuration.

Did you have the same problem?
