In my latest round of flashing new IBM M-1115 HBA cards, I also upgraded the IPMI version to 1.42 and the BIOS to 2.0. I did the screwdriver trick to reset all the BIOS data after the upgrade.

Now, about 50% of the the time after a reboot the FreeNAS kernel panic's when it tries to mount the ZFS raidz3 filesystem. This is running the latest production 9.2.1.7 version of Freenas. I would like to either figure out what BIOS settings are "wrong" and figure out what is causing this , or downgrade to the previous version of the BIOS, which i cannot find on the supermicro website. I am using two newly flashed to P16 IT mode M-1115 cards I purchased on ebay.

If anyone has suggestions, I'm all ears. When it does boot full it works wonderfully. Yes, I have ECC RAM and have enabled SMART testing.

Make sure only one of the controllers at most (even better: none of them) have their boot ROMs flashed - they only get in the way and have been problematic with multiple controllers in the past.
