Wipe equivelent for Freenas?

I am not sure how I would word the subject but I have 2 x1TB WD Green drives mirrored., and I want to wipe all the data from them while they are still attached to board.

I did not have much data on them anyway and backed up what I want to keep.
I have the remnants of a plugin there as well and having tried to rm -rf the plugin files, but don't have permission , so I thought if I could do the equivelent of wiping or formatting the mirrored drives

I can see that they can be detached from detach volume, but don't want to do that if I don't have to.
I am guessing that it probably wouldn't let me do what I want anyway, or would it?

The best way to make the drives basically blank is to detach the volume and check the box that says "mark disks as new".

Yes, thanks, I thought it would be that, and that's what I've done. Just putting the data back onto the mirrored volume dataset now
