I was on TrueNAS 12 and winmsa worked fine (and FreeNAS 11 as well). But I recently updated to TrueNAS 13 (I also tried 13U1). Attached files are my SMB config (exact config that I used on 11 and 12), the error when trying to rename a folder (with winmsa on), the error when trying to delete a folder (with winmsa on). Tested on Windows 10 and 11.

winmsa does not work correctly on TrueNAS 13

Seems like the /var/db/system/cores/smbd.core get created every time I try a rename or a move. How do I create a bug ticket on https://jira.ixsystems.com/? After logging in, everytime I went there, it redirected me to https://ixsystems.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portals. I can upload the core file, but there's no ticket to link it to.

This is the reference jira ticket. Just FYI vfs_winmsa was an internally-developed module for a specific customer (who is in the process of upgrading to 13). Eventually I will make it work on SCALE, but I have not forward-ported fixes yet.
