Hello,

What is causing my NAS to show this path:

old paths are listed like this:

/mnt/Volume1/photos

Now every new volume looks like this:

/dev/zvol/Volume/files

What I'm I doing wrong, or it there a problem with my system, I reboot it to see if that would fix it, but no luck.

I need to create a NFS share and would like to create a new volume, but the NFS sharing will not see /dev/zvol at all.

If you can help me, please let me know what I can do to fix this issue.

Thanks,

Mike

You got it all wrong.

ZFS Volume is like a block device, you usually use it in iSCSI... What you really want is a ZFS Dataset...
