SOLVED VM doesn't boot till I VNC to it

I think that's exactly where that option belongs. If there's no VNC device as with most of my VMs, that option goes away, too.

I can easily connect to the guest OS via rdp. That is, it works.

Normally, you have to buy a separate computer and put esxi there, as I understand it. As it is, it's more of a toy.
