I want to use added vlans in my jail, but don't know how to setup. I tried to add a bridge to vlanid with an own epair interface.

We have following network configuration on FreeNAS:
lagg0 (lacp) with members: em0, em1
vlan12 with parent interface lagg0, without configured interface/ip
vlan13 with parent interface lagg0, without configured interface/ip

Now i want to use vlan12 and vlan13 only within my jail, is this possible?

Thanks

Yes. When configuring the jail, you will be asked for the interface. It will be a pull down menu in advanced mode. It is labeled as nic.

All my jails are on vlans. Though I'm not using lagg, i don't see any reason why it wouldn't work.

I only had the lagg0 interface in the pull down menu. After upgrading to the latest stable i can choose my vlan but lagg0 disappeared.

My last problem: is it possible to use more than one vlan in a jail?
For example:
vlan10 with 10.10.0.0/24
vlan11 with 10.11.0.0/16
vlan12 with 10.12.0.0/16
...

I couldn't find any rhyme or reason on which interfaces show up in the list. the one i always needed so I hadn't noticed. Could be a bug.

While I'm sure freebsd jails can have multiple nics, freenas can't, at least from the gui. I would suggest a feature request if it is needed. The fact you can change a jail interface started that way.
