Does anyone know how to increase the file upload size from the default 513MB?

I am using the default plugin for Owncloud at V6.01

Could someone post the definitive working solution - there seems to be a lot written but none of it works.

There is even a description of the php.ini file settings. Where is the definitive location for this file?

And should the .htaccess file be edited as well?

I then restart the plugin by turning it on and off.

I am sure its easy but its not working for me.

Need more information. Which OwnCloud are you using? The plugins-PBI on FreeNAS?

I am using the Freenas version of Owncloud V6.01 with Freenas V9.2.3 -

That would be very interesting since there is no FreeNAS 9.2.3

Out of the box the default upload file size is 513Mb. That is loading a file into Owncloud.

Setting a larger file size in Owncloud GUI does not work.
It did not work there in previous versions either.

You have to modify files.

Does anyone use the owncloud V6.01 plugin and upload more than 513MB into Owncloud?
How did you achieve this?

I sill have this problem in V6.03 and FreeNAS v9.2.1.5

What is the work around - the same as before?

Ok, now fixed - by editing the files I have got 8gB uploads - it may go past that - but I don;t really need to upload more than that.

1. upload_max_filesize = 8191M
2. post_max_size = 8191M

=> /usr/pbi/owncloud-amd64/www/owncloud/.htaccess:
3. php_value upload_max_filesize 8191M

4. php_value post_max_size 8191M
