USB Drive For Storage, Reccomended Now?

Hi,

Im in the process to buid a server with 24 x 6TB in hot swap bay for personal storage, 4 internal 5 Tb drives for my security cameras and phone lines records and 4 x 4 Tb drives for diverse applications. such music,, etc...

But the big question is, with the new version 9.3 of FreeNAS, can I use USB drives without any issues now? It will be interested because I plan to put 1 or many WD Duo 12 Tb for offering cloud storage to my family and to my friends. By connecting my FreeNAS USB storage via FTP to my OwnCloud server hosted on my VPS at OVH Canada. By hooking FreeNAS storage to my OwnCloud, thats allow me also to not disclose my home public static IP to everyone, only my IP/Domain of my VPS will be disclosed so im OK with that. I cannot add more SATA drive because all SATA ports and hot swap slots and internal bays will be full disks for my personal use.

9.3 hasn't really changed wrt USB support.
