Hi all,

I'm having an issue with upgrading from 11.1-U7 to 11.2-U4.1, the installer runs, locates my boot drives, but during the installation it fails with the message 'ada0 is corrupt'. As these disks are in a mirror I also tried using ada1 which prompts me for the password of my FreeNAS installation but also fails with an 'Operation not permitted' error.

Can anyone help at all?

Thanks!

Were you able to resolve this? If not, have you tried a fresh install to new USB sticks?

No I haven't been able to, if I install a new OS will my volumes come over or will they be lost?

Thanks!

They will not be lost. That is the whole reason why the OS lives on its own device, so it is separate from the storage disks.
