Hi all

Not sure if it's a bug or if the error is sitting in front of the keyboard...

To the nightmare:
I tried to upgrade from 8.0.1.b4 (x64) to 8.0.4.p2 (x64), after reading the upgrade guide I took the GUI version.
System came not back, after checking the console output I was no sure if a reboot ever happened...
- reboot, a lot of (unclear) error messages and no up and running system.
- burning actual 8.0.4.p2 on CD and booting from CD.
- boot was fine but never got the menu where I can install/upgrade several messages.
- after burning 3 more different versions (MM, 8.0.3.,...) I realized that direct after booting I get the error message "/data" was not clean unmounted before.
- trying with a fresh USB stick, CD boots ends up in an endless loop trying to access the USB stick.
- taking the imaging method, boots fine, reloading the old conf, all works, 8TB NAS upgraded!

To the bug:
For me it looks like that after crashing of the first time GUI upgrade, "/data" was not unmounted
and after that the new CD version was not able to boot into a running system and present the install/upgrade menu.

best

Michael
