Upgrade to 11.3 checksum failure

Once again I find myself at the font of Freenas knowledge to fix something that just isn't working for me.

I was at 11.2 u2.1 and wanted to upgrade. I read that it was advisable to go up to at least 11.2 u7 first so I did the upgrade to 11.2 u8. The next day I was going to upgrade to 11.3u2 but I couldn't select that train in the new web interface. After poking around I couldn't come up with a reason that was happening and switched over to the Legacy interface. Sure enough the 11.3 train was listed. I selected it and started to download. It failed with a checksum error. OK I thought I'll run it tonight off a clean boot of my Windows 10 machine. Nope, checksum error. 5 more times I tried and keep getting a checksum error. So my question is what should I be looking at to try and fix this? My system is literally just a big storage box, I don't plex, no jails, nothing encrypted just store stuff as a backup. I have a single e5-2650 with 64GB of ECC ram and 18 4tb discs split into 2 Z2 vols. I've had this for over 3 years and the only change was adding more mem 2 years ago. The box is off 98% of the time since I only turn it on to store a back up to it and then turn it off. I did a scrub last night with no problems. The system itself shows no warnings and all the discs pass smart tests.

So please point me in the right direction or whack me on the side of the head.....whatever it takes to get this going.

You could try going the manual update route, using http://download.freenas.org/11.3/STABLE/U3.2/FreeNAS-11.3-U3.2-manual-update.tar. Also, please read this before upgrading to 11.3.

The manual route will be my next attempt, thanks. Isaw the warning about the Geli encrypted discs but nothing on my box is encrypted.

The manual update did work eventually. When I tried to do it under the Lagacy interface it would flash the update window for about 5 seconds and then that would disappear. However, switching to the newer interface it worked just fine. Thank you for your help.
