Upgrade from 11.3 to 11.3-U1 Corrupts Jails

Upgrade from 11.3 to 11.3-U1 corrupts jails as was reported by some users when upgrading to 11.3.
Also, the format of the script I run to report the disk status is being lost in the "mail" process as already has been reported on the update to 11.3.
I have had no opportunity to debug and just reverted to 11.3 and all was well.

Well works fine here, just like 11.3 did (although I did have to redo the vnet when going from 12.2 u7 to 11.3)

Reverting to 11.3REL and then rebooting into 11.3-U1 has "fixed" the jail corruption.
After modifying my smart script to use stop using "sendmail" the scripts are sending but the format is all collapsed with the spacing being lost.
Any ideas to sort the script out ?

Second server upgraded to 11.3-U1 ok.
The script fix; NAS-105003 , will be in 11.3-U2

Revised Smart script has fixed the issue.
