Hello. Trying to perform GUI upgrade from 9.1.1 to 9.2.1.3, failed three times with:
freenas manage.py: [middleware.exceptions:38] [MiddlewareError: Invalid firmware, wrong checksum]
I have downloaded three separate times, ran SHA256 each time with verification, all good, but will not upgrade. Should I use the CD iso method or will that be risky also? I could just not break a working system and leave it alone ........
Thanks for the advice!
Best,
IMF

Hi. Never mind, I upgraded from CD which seemed to go well, no major issues.
After the upgrade, following the manual, I did upgrade the zpool which also went reasonably well. Unlike the manual, both before and after the zpool upgrade the command 'zpool status -x' revealed properties of VERSION but the values were "-", not 28 as in the manual. Seems to work OK, so not sure what that means. Anyhow, if other users are having problems upgrading with the GUI, the CD seems to work well. Best of luck,
IMF

I am also getting the same values after upgrading to 9.2.1.3 but I used the
zpool get version MyVolume command.

NAME PROPERTY VALUE SOURCE MyVolume version - default

Is this normal or did something go wrong with the zpool upgrade?

Thanks
