Good Day All,
Been a while since my last visit.. mainly because the two systems cuurently in use (sig) perform flawless! Thanks!
I am mostly using the systems for Domain Storage and Backup and Media streaming. No further loads exist (yet).
Now I am coming up to 70% storage use and would like to combine the two systems in one other Supermicro chassis with 24 bays:
Manufacturer: Supermicro Product Name: X9SCL/X9SCM
Hostname T3.Workgroup
Build FreeNAS-11.1-U7
Platform Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1230 V2 @ 3.30GHz
Memory 32702MB
Usage None
Disks None yet but 11 20 TB harddisks ordered...
I will tests the new harddisks per the guidelines here provided but then....
What Freenas or Truenas version is recommended for the new system...? Bear in mind that ECC memory is maxed out on all 3 Motherboards...
What is the best MB to use in the new 24 bay chassis?
Any ideas or suggestions would be very welcome!
