Update motherboard BIOS

Hello everybody,
I was trying to wake on lan my freenas machine and I succeded!

The problem is that my BIOS firmware seems not to support usb boot after wake on lan.

In fact when the machine starts it is displayed: "This is a freenas usb boot etc etc"... I don't remember the exact message.
After googoling for it i found that the probkem coukd be the one I've just wrote above.

Now, since I'd like to mantaine the usb stick as boot drive I could try to update my BIOS firmware in order to see if the usb boot after WOL feature is been added.

Is there any way to update my BIOS firmware via freenas?
