Unable to create ESX 4.1 NFS datastore, NFS client service not running on ESX

Hello,

When I try to create an NFS datastore on my ESX 4.1 server to my Freenas 9.2 storage server, I'm getting 'an error occurred during host configuration'.

Typing 'service nfs status' on the ESX server shows that the rpc.mountd, nfsd, rpc.rquotad services aren't running. Does anyone know how to start the NFS client service on ESX 4.1? I've already enabled 'NFS Client' in Configuration-->Security Profile but I don't see any way to start it from there.
