I am attempting to attach NFS on vsphere via freenas.
When I 'add storage' in vsphere and enter the details as follows:
server = 192.168.0.24
folder = /mnt/freenas
datastore name = freenas
when I attempt to create the NFS I get a error:
Call "HostDatastoreSystem.CreateNasDatastore" for object "ha-datastoresystem" on ESXi "server" failed.
NFS mount 192.168.0.24:/mnt/freenas failed: The mount request was denied by the NFS server. Check that the export exists and that the client is permitted to mount it.
An unknown error has occurred.
I have checked settings in freenas and from what I can see all looks ok.
Any suggestions? its driving me mad!
