Hi,
I'm doing my burn-in tests with my new NAS box (see signature for specification), and am having trouble configuring the UPS.
I have run the command:
Which gave me the following result:
So I then went to Services to configure the UPS:
UPS Mode: Master
Identifier: ups
Driver: APC ups 1 Smart-UPS (apcsmart)
Port: /dev/ugen0.5 (as found out above)
Shutdown Mode: UPS reaches low battery
Shutdown Command: /sbin/shutdown -p now
Monitor User: upsmon
Monitor Password: fixmepass
Send Email Status Updates: Ticked
To email: my email address
However it fails to connect to the UPS, and I get two emails saying 'COMMBAD - ups' and then 'NOCOMM - ups', also on the console the message 'UPS [ups]: connect failed: Connection failure: Connection refused'
Any pointers on what I can do to resolve this?
Cheers,
Jonathan
