Hello.

I want to have two separated SMB shares on two network interfaces and both shares to have their own dataset assigned. Is this possible with FreeNAS?

My FreeNAS BOX:
Build: FreeNAS-9.10.2-U6 (561f0d7a1)
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8500 @ 3.16GHz
Memory: 8GB of DDR2 800MHz in 4 sticks
One 1TB WD Purple drive for data and 8GB CF card in CF - IDE adapter for OS.

I want to avoid deleting any data from the drive, I have it half filled, and I apologize for any language mistakes, English is not my native language.

No. "Interfaces" is a global parameter. You can, however, use "hosts allow" to designate which subnet is allowed to access which share.

i.e. hosts allow = 192.168.1.
