TrueNAS Scale Cloud Sync exclude box for Ignore syntax

Hello, first post here, new to TrueNAS.

My question
How do I have Cloud Sync ignore files that have not been modified? Every copy I run sends the entire contents regardless if it exists on the destination and hasnt been modified. I have tried syntax from RCloud in the "exclude" box but it has no effect.
