I re-installed Core 12.0 U8.1. The fresh installation detected my Interfaces, EM0 @ 1Gbps on the MB, and AQ0 @ 10Gbps and AQ1 @ 10Gbps.
After restoring from a backup which only had EM0 and AQ0 (installed AQ1 after that backup), interface AQ1 is down with 'Link State Down', and no light on the card or the switch. EM0 and AQ0 are working fine after the restore.
Checking dmesg for AQ1 shows that the system sees it and its mac address, but never changed the link state to 'up'.
Is there a simple fix for the AQ1 link state?
