Transmission plugin no longer available on TrueNAS CORE?

I upgraded from FreeNAS 11 to TrueNAS CORE 12, but the Transmission plugin is not available to install. Are there any alternatives?

If you upgrade to a current version (TrueNAS 13 CORE), there is a transmission plugin available under the community plugins... although everybody who knows will tell you not to use plugins.

As a general rule making your own jail is the best way to be able to update things on your own in future and as far as I know, the steps for transmission provided here should still be OK:
