Hello, I am using Truenas as a Time Machine backup for my MAC. In case of a ransomware on my Mac, will it affect my timemachine backup? If so are there any options in Truenas to prevent this?

It depends on the ransomware - but yes, TrueNAS can help you. Enable snapshots of your TM dataset and you can make a rollback. But remember to have a unique password / use 2FA on TrueNAS admin.
TrueNAS is taking snapshot of your TimeMachine dataset.
If a ransomware encrypt tour data, you can just rollback to a previous snapshot (that's apply to every dataset you have aside TimeMachine too)
