I am very new to Freenas, one of my colleagues installed Freenas with Owncloud. unfortunately the colleague no longer works in our company.. Long story short, someone inadvertently removed one of the HDD's thinking it was another system. now i have the following error:

CRITICAL: The volume jupiter (ZFS) state is DEGRADED: One or more devices has been removed by the administrator. Sufficient replicas exist for the pool to continue functioning in a degraded state.

How to I resolve this issue?

Add in another blank HD and let the pool rebuild.

What I had done was re-insert the HDD that was taken out, however it still shows degraded. I also do not have an additional spot to add another HDD, as all spots are taken.

Use the "replace disk" feature to get the disk re-added to the pool--you'll replace it with itself. Or if you reboot the server, it should pick it up automatically.
