Switching to Scale

Hello Everyone,

I know Scale is still in alpha, but i was wondering:
if the only use-case for my NAS are some SMB Shares, a Plex server, Pi-Hole and a Grafana Dashboard i created just for the fun of tinkering with it, would it be safe to already switch. All My Data is backed up on an external Drive.

SMB metadata for Core may not be preserved if you migrate to SCALE at this point (for example color tags set in finder). Permissions will also need to be reset / tweaked because NFSv4 ACL support is not yet implemented.

Permissions and metadata won't be a problem, if I switch i think i will change some of my pool desings and copy my data from the backup.

If you're OK with pre-release OS and other components, sure. It sounds like what you have isn't going to interfere too much with your life if it gets lost or corrupted (considering the backup).
